There's not much room, so after Peggy investigates other alternatives, she ends up sitting on the bed beside Barnes, folding her hands in her lap. She stares forward, not sure that she can take looking at him just yet, not while she tries to put all her thoughts together (particularly the part where she's going to have to be intimate with someone and, given her issues with intimacy, she fears what will happen if she isn't).
"In your own time," she allows gently. "I don't want to rush you." She manages to catch his gaze, reaching out to lightly squeeze the fingers of his hand with hers before relinquishing, letting the tips of her fingers trail, as if she's reminding herself that this is real.
