Wanda took great lengths to avoid the temple since Rumlow's arrival. She didn't want to run into someone else she knew who didn't remember her. An island filled with Avengers and the only person who knew her was Thor, who was often busy or elsewhere. It was lonely and, not for the first time, Wanda felt lost.
Thin fingers dug into her head as a chill ran up her spine. She didn't know what the feeling was at first but it was insistent like a cold wind blowing against the back of her neck. "Pietro" She whispered his name, suddenly sitting up straighter. They had always been connected, she had felt him ever since they got their powers. Eros, for all his faults, hadn't taken that ability away from her.
She didn't even tell her boss that she was leaving, she turned and ran towards the temple, moving as fast as her feet would take her. "He's here." Wanda couldn't think about the fact that the island was fueled by sex. All that mattered was that she could see her brother again.
When she reached the temple she was panting softly. Her palm rested against the wall of the entrance way as she meet Pietro's gaze. Unlike him, she was dressed in her regular clothes, a dress and combat boots combination that she'd have worn at home. Wanda swallowed as her throat dried, trying to figure out what to say to her long lost brother. She wanted to cry, scream, laugh and shout, but more than all of that she wanted to believe that her brother was alive.
She didn't have to say anything for him to know what was on her mind.
