"Some women don't care about that," Bree said defiantly. She actually liked the nerve of this guy, that he would thumb his nose at the gods and choose to defy them even if it meant death. She wasn't brave enough to do that. If she'd been alone, possibly, but there was the risk of losing her memories of Jem and of Roger and she wouldn't do that, no matter how painful it might be to be with someone else in Roger's stead. He would just have to understand her choices.

"You're a big man and probably a strong one. Considering I'm taller than most men, the height isn't exactly a turn-off. If a woman only cares about a face, she's shallow and probably not worth your time anyway."
