She'd seen plenty of faces come and go during her time on the island of Atia, their numbers so numerous that even Rose had all but forgotten most of them. She could name only half a dozen, probably less, whose departure had rocked her and Oliver Queen? Rose had drank her way to the bottom of a bottle of bourbon when she'd showed up at his place to find that he was gone, memories of having to be literally carried back to her place, would perhaps be forever burned into her mind.
She had continued to wear the ring she'd had made for him, on a chain around her neck. The very same chain and the very same ring, that was hidden beneath the material of her toga as the person who had once owned it, now came strolling her way.
Surely he'd have her answer from the look of shock on her face, Rose staring at the tall blonde, her breath caught in her throat as fear that he wouldn't remember her, kept her frozen to the spot. His, was a face she hadn't seen in a very long time.
Silence hangs in the air long enough that his heart would likely start to sink, but he'd see it then, the smile that began to stretch across her lips and he'd hear the words he'd no doubt heard, a thousand times before.
"Shut up Ollie." And with that oh so sweet (yet oh so Rose) greeting, she moves to throw her arms around him. (Might wanna get the wine out of the way because right now, she dun care.)
