"Fine by me!" he answered Kate. Now wasn't the time. It should've been enough for her to be there in the flesh but he couldn't easily get over his brother's betrayal. He didn't know who Richie was anymore. Or maybe he never really knew.
Seth was ready to move when the preacher's daughter dismissed his touch. He swallowed thickly and backed away before she could administer a full rejection. Kate pointed out the obvious that he had missed, similar to what Richie had. The place did give a more Roman or Greek feel than anything in Mexico and the sun was out in full force.
With a visibly frustrated look, he stepped up to a nearby waking body who had 'FREEDOM' tattooed across his upper back and used the butt of his revolver to knock the guy out then snatched up the sheet next to the guy. "There. Cover up. Stay in my shadow." The words left him before Seth realized what he said. "Or burn. I really don't give a shit."
The last thing he wanted to hear at the moment was more shit from Richie. "We get out of here and find somewhere else to hide. Not trusting a place I got left in with a bunch of bodies. --Not after all the bullshit we've been through." He looked to his brother. "That good enough or do you need one more?"
He was still agitated and aggravated but the question was genuine. His brother could probably tell by his gaze. Seth only glanced at Richie before continuing a look around for anyone who might give the semblance of a guard or enforcer and an easy mark if the younger Gecko needed more covering.
