Richie's brows furrow as well between the two of them suddenly being hyper-concerned about him, only to look down and see sunlight splashing across his stomach. His muscles tense instinctively, his breath catching as he waits for pain, but nothing happens. It's warm, it's bright, and it isn't burning him.
"What the fuck?"
He says it almost softly, though. He'd be lying if he said he didn't kind of miss the heat of the sun, being able to step out into the light. And anyone would be crazy if they said it wasn't a pain in the ass to avoid it. It was a pretty debilitating weakness at times, something they had to accept in exchange for some of the perks of being what he was.
Richie's eyes meet Seth's, flicking to reptilian slits, his mouth opening as he experimentally lets his fangs drop before they retract again. A quick blink and his eyes are blue.
He lowers the sheet around his head slowly, as if waiting for the burning to start, but eventually it settles around his shoulders as he squints his eyes against the brightness, still obviously confused by this as much as either of them.
"It doesn't feel like one." He's looking over at Kate now, too. She looks real, sounds it too. He only looks away once he's halfway through starting to talk to his brother again. "Feel like getting pinched, brother?"
