Test Drive #1

ARRIVAL: Your character wakes up in a temple completely naked except for the collar around their neck. Near the spot they wake up is a pile of clothing that is NOT what your character was wearing before they woke up. When they unfold the clothing they will find it's a toga and that there's a pair of sandals under it. Too bad, that's all there is. Perhaps your character is curious and leaves the temple or maybe they activate their device (accidentally or on purpose).

TOGA PARTY: Eros thinks that a party is what's needed to welcome everyone! This event is held on the beach in the Second District and everyone is welcome! Just be sure to wear your toga (HAHA)! There are large silk tents that are filled with pillows for characters to lounge on. There's food (think Greek) and lots to drink! Eros wants everyone to have fun and get to know each other! So eat, drink and mingle!!

NETWORK:Everyone is provided with a communication device that gives them access to an island-wide network. These can be used for so many things! Send pictures of the drunk guy at the bar, your boobs or whatever you want!!

WILDCARD: There are forests, mountains, marketplaces, all sorts of places to go and explore on the island. Ideas for settings can be found on the locations pages!

**TDM threads can be used as your sample in your application! It can also be considered in game canon if it is agreed on by all characters involved in said threads.

Oliver cringes slightly as he hears sputters, not wanting anyone to choke on his watch. He turns just in time to see the other man swallow the rest of his wine in a big gulp, and he raises both eyebrows in surprise. But it's the man's words that mkes him laugh slightly:

"I'm glad to know that your priorities are in the right place," he teases as he reaches for another glass for the other man.

"I'm Oliver Queen," he says as he offers up the glass.

"They always are." There is a hint of jovial mirth in his voice, even if the other man doesn't know what they might be, and even if there are times that Porthos or Athos might warn him. Although what those priorities are can often change. Yet he is no stranger to ale, nor is he one to waste it. Past experiences have shown just that.

"Aramis, at your service." With a flourish that is all Aramis, before accepting the new glass. "Although it seems you are at mine."

"Good," Oliver says with a grin, "I'm sure you'll get by well here then!" That is, if this place is anything like the last one he's been brought to.

The flourish causes Oliver to laugh, but the given name, makes him look at the man in slight disbelief:

"Aramis? You wouldn't come from France, would you?" Can this be? Is he really facing one of the greatest hero in written history? Oliver had read Dumas many times as a growing child, comforted in the thought that heroes always win over bad guys. Perhaps, part of those stories he read are the reason for his search for justice as a vigilante.

While Aramis certainly is used to a certain reaction to his name, and his like for being popular does aid in that, it isn't one that he expects. Yet, perhaps the lad has a gift for tongues, knowing the origin of his name. He cannot claim to being the only one with such a name, but in his opinion, he is the best known.

"You would be correct in your assumption. Aramis, Musketeer of France." A little circular motion with his hand. "Yet you do not have the look of a french man."

'Holy shit' is all Oliver can think of at the moment. He really shouldn't be this surprised, he's met Da Vinci on that other island, but this takes the cake. At least, Da Vinci had existed for real, whereas Aramis was fiction. Come to life apparently. And even if this seems impossible, Oliver can't really stop himself from fanboying on the inside.

On the outside, though, he's simply grinning as he shakes his head:

"I'm American, and really not from your century. Let's just say that you've left your mark on history, that's how I know your name and who you are." It's not the exact truth, but it's not a lie either.
