Test Drive #1

ARRIVAL: Your character wakes up in a temple completely naked except for the collar around their neck. Near the spot they wake up is a pile of clothing that is NOT what your character was wearing before they woke up. When they unfold the clothing they will find it's a toga and that there's a pair of sandals under it. Too bad, that's all there is. Perhaps your character is curious and leaves the temple or maybe they activate their device (accidentally or on purpose).

TOGA PARTY: Eros thinks that a party is what's needed to welcome everyone! This event is held on the beach in the Second District and everyone is welcome! Just be sure to wear your toga (HAHA)! There are large silk tents that are filled with pillows for characters to lounge on. There's food (think Greek) and lots to drink! Eros wants everyone to have fun and get to know each other! So eat, drink and mingle!!

NETWORK:Everyone is provided with a communication device that gives them access to an island-wide network. These can be used for so many things! Send pictures of the drunk guy at the bar, your boobs or whatever you want!!

WILDCARD: There are forests, mountains, marketplaces, all sorts of places to go and explore on the island. Ideas for settings can be found on the locations pages!

**TDM threads can be used as your sample in your application! It can also be considered in game canon if it is agreed on by all characters involved in said threads.

"Are you a Lannister?" His chain is made of gold and it has a lion upon it. Such a device could only mean he was a Lannister. Still, this man doesn't have golden hair or green eyes so being a Lannister is not likely. It seems like up is down and right is left in this strange place.

"From House Lannister? Of Casterly Rock? Your device has a lion sigil," she says, taking his hand. "That's the sigil of their house."

"I don't know these 'Lannisters of Casterly Rock'. I am Caspian, King of Narnia." He touched the lion once more, wishing desperately that Aslan would suddenly appear. A simple roar and the collars would fall from their necks.

But Aslan couldn't save them all the time. This was a test and it was for him to find his way free. He had to believe that, otherwise...hope would be lost.

"The lion represents Aslan, I think." He hopes. "Are these 'Lannisters' responsible for bringing you here?"

"I don't know," Sansa says. It appears to be the only thing she can say and she feels for all the world like the little bird that the Hound used to accuse her of being. She shrugs one shoulder, causing the toga to slip down further than what she was comfortable with. She hates this garment.

"They held me captive in the capital for a long time but I got away. I've been at the Eyrie for a while now but I just rode north again, to Winterfell. It's not a place I would guess you know, is it? I don't know Narnia."

She presses her lips together. "I'm Sansa, of House Stark. I'm to be married again to Lord Bolton but Winterfell is my home. It's my castle. I should technically be a queen, your Grace."

If he had a cloak, he would offer it to her. Instinctively, he reaches for one, only to remember that he is also in the strange garment. He only had his sword, which was at least a small comfort. Even if he is without his clothes, he had a means to protect himself and Sansa.

"If they are here, I promise that I will not let them capture you again." Though whether or not that was feasible wasn't a certainty. Were they not already prisoners? It wasn't as though he could tear the collars from their necks and find the nearest ship. He'd have to be patient and bide his time.

"Your highness," he bows deeply. "I was on my ship, the Dawn Treader, before I woke in this place. I don't know how I came to be here, but perhaps it is somewhere nearby. There is a chance that they might find me here."

"Do you want to search for the ship, my lord? I would come with you," Sansa promises. He seems trustworthy, for as little as she knows him, and while she is wary to trust men these days she has to trust someone if she aims to get out of this place.

"I would rather sail on a ship to a foreign land than to be made a slave in this one. I've never been a slave before and I don't intend to start."

[personal profile] narnian_hamlet 2017-03-08 12:12 pm (UTC)(link)
He didn't know if it would do any good. If the ship had docked, his men would be searching for him now. It was likely that they were sailing, looking for the island in the hopes of finding him. There was no telling how long that might be.

But there was no harm in searching for the ship, if only to offer her a bit of hope. As well as himself.

"I nearly was, but I was rescued by my father's man." It seemed almost a lifetime ago, though it was not far from his mind now. "If I am able, I will return you home, your highness." He offered her his hand. "We can try to find the docks. It might be there."

"I'll go with you, your Grace," Sansa says. She thinks she can trust him. He seems like he's not from Westeros at all and he has been forthright with her thus far. She knows that beautiful things are often ugly underneath but what choice does she have but to trust him? He's offering an escape. It's better than remaining here in bondage under uncertain terms.

"Do you swear not to harm me? I know it must seem silly to ask for such an oath," Sansa says, "But I need assurance. I have been treated ill in the past by those pretending to have my best interests at heart."

[personal profile] narnian_hamlet 2017-03-10 09:41 pm (UTC)(link)
He placed his hand over his heart, "In Aslan's name, I swear that neither I nor anyone else she harm you in this realm. Not while I am able to draw breath." She didn't seem to hold any recognition for the great lion, but it was the truest and strongest vow he could offer to comfort her.

"When you woke in the temple, did they say anything to you that might indicate where we are? Did you see any maps or something to help us place this land?"
theladyofwinterfell: (and who is the knife)

[personal profile] theladyofwinterfell 2017-03-11 12:23 am (UTC)(link)
"I didn't," Sansa says, shrugging helplessly. His oath puts her at ease and she feels like she can be safe with him but she still doesn't know where she is. She wishes she had some knowledge, even a scrap, so she'd have something to begin with.

"I don't know where to even start, your Grace."

[personal profile] narnian_hamlet 2017-03-11 02:28 pm (UTC)(link)
It was a long shot and one that he shouldn't have held out hope for. There was at least a chance, even if his crew and ship weren't here, he could find a means to sail from this island. But this was all a distant possibility and he needed to still get his bearings. It wouldn't be right to raise her hopes with talk of a plan before he even had one to offer.

He lead her towards the docks, scanning the crowds for anyone he might recognize.

"For now we focus on searching for signs of my crew or ship." After that, well...he would need to think more. "You have no one you recognize here? No friends or family?"
theladyofwinterfell: (and turns me to gold)

[personal profile] theladyofwinterfell 2017-03-11 10:49 pm (UTC)(link)
"I haven't seen anyone, your Grace," Sansa says. She's not seen anyone from Westeros, neither friend nor foe, and she doesn't know whether or not to be grateful for that. She presses her lips together.

"I will help you search for your ship."

[personal profile] narnian_hamlet 2017-03-14 03:49 pm (UTC)(link)
He leads her down to the docks, comforted by the sound of ship hands and the smell of the salt water. Whatever fears or uncertainty he had disappears entirely in this familiar environment. There are a number of sturdy vessels, but they all seem to be fishing boats.

He frowns, disappointed despite suspecting it would not be here. "They might not know which island I am being kept at." Unless this was another realm, similar to the realm Lucy and Edmund came from. It didn't seem to have the same clothes they had though. "There is still a chance that they find their way here in the next few days." He would hold out hope.
theladyofwinterfell: (it seems i've made)

"I certainly hope so. Otherwise, we are well and truly lost, your Grace," Sansa says. That prospect doesn't comfort her much and she hopes that his ships do come, that they can bear her to somewhere more safe.

"You will stay with me until we find a way off this island?"
